If the update is jtag safe or what they updated i tried google but every post I saw was people giving trolling answers I will give you +28 rep just for a straight answer yes or no and is it ok to update straight from the Xbox or do I need to flash the new image? Thank you for your help

I think it is safe because alot of the posts on here are saying that jtags are back online, so yes, it is safe to update, but whether you need to flash again I don't know

im on the 2.0.15574.0 i updated it through xeBuild and i did the 1st update when i 1st got on a few days ago and not there is a new one that came out today.
