upd8 wrote I have a PVR, but personally the only thing that makes me chuckle is seeing topics in the GD saying "Buying roxio, where should I buy one?" Or "How do I get good quality with a dazzle?".

PVR or Elgato is better than all of those. If your'e going to record, don't do it with 480p. Go with the best, it's the only thing that will ever pay off.

1. Not everyone has the money for "the best" and 2. Most people work up to pvr's from the roxio or the dazzle.

Not to be a d*ck, but you have 14 subs, while my dazzle channel has 140 subs.

So how is that pvr paying off?

AR15 wrote There is only one thing I can say, and it's a lot of youtubes and such started out with dazzles and roxios just because you don't want to front $200-250 doesn't mean you're bad.

Exactly i was watching a PTFO vid earlier and they vikkstar said how he started off by pointing a webcam at the screen and simple stuff like that now look at his videos...

High quality is nice but is not 100% necessary. If you know you have good content and people will like it then why MUST you have a PVR?
