HOW TO CHANGE A KEYVAULT WITH A USB

There is a tutorial on this already but this is very newb friendly

STEP 1: You will first have to get your flashdmp.bin from your jtagged xbox. You will do this by putting flash360.xex and the media files on to your usb. You will then run the xex menu on the jtag. Then go over to your usb and click on flash360.xex. When it loads there will be a blue screen with the options A, B, or X. Click X and then once it loads click A. It should start writing the nand on to your usb. Once it gets to 100% unplug your usb.

STEP 2: Next you will need to retrieve your cpu key by running xell. To do this all you need to do is turn your xbox on by hitting the eject button. Wait for it to load all the way and then you will see your dvd key and cpu key. Just write down your cpu key on a piece of paper. You will not need the dvd key.

STEP 3: Head on over to your computer with your usb. Plug your usb into your computer. The files on the usb should be the same with the added flashdmp.bin. Next you will to open 360 flash tool (make sure to run as administrator). Allow 360 flash tool to open.

STEP 4: Once 360 flash tool is loaded you will need to click on keys at the top of the screen. Check the boxes named CPU and 1BL. Once they are both checked you will now need to type your CPU key into the box named CPU. After you have done that click ok.

STEP 5: Now you will need to open your flashdmp.bin. To open it just click on the little open tab at the top left. Open your file flashdmp.bin that you got from your xbox before.

STEP 6: Now copy your dvd key and remember what type of osig you have. Once you have copied your dvd key and remembered what type of osig you have click import at the bottom right.

STEP 7: Once the other page opens check the box where it says keyvault. Open the keyvault that you wish to use and click ok at the bottom. Save it as something you will remember like iloveyou or something like that. Also save it to your desktop it is much easier to get to.

STEP 8: Open the file you just saved in 360 flash tool. After you do that click on Patch at the bottom left corner. Once it opens check the box where it says patch key vault. Where it says dvd key that is where you will paste your dvd key you copied and the osig is what you remembered from the original flashdmp.bin. After you have pasted the dvd key and selected your osig click ok.

STEP 9: Save the file as updflash. Save it to your desktop. After you do that move the updflash over to your usb stick. Once it copies you will now move to your xbox for the last part.

STEP 10: Turn your xbox on normaly. Go into the xex menu and click on your usb and run flash360.xex again. This time when the options come up click A,B,START,START,A. Then it will start installing the key vault. Once it gets to 100% click back as many times until it says click back to shut down. Click back again and it will count down from 5. After it shuts down unplug the power cord and plug it back in.

STEP 11: Log into your xbox live account and have fun hosting those lobbies!!
