For those of you who dont know what FTP is, it means File-Transfer-Protocol. It is used to transfer files between your Jtag and your PC.

What youll need:
Filezilla ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

1. Plug in your Ethernet cable first to obtain an IP address. If you do not get an IP address before launching XEXMenu then you will not be able to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Launch XEXMenu from Games Tab (or disk if you have not already installed it to your Xbox HDD)

2. If youre not already signed in with a profile you will be asked to sign in. Pick an offline profile or your xbox will try to connect to Live which could get your console banned (if it is not already). You should be faced with a screen similar to below.

3. Hit the Right Bumper (RB) twice and you should be faced with a screen like below. Notice my IP address is 192.168.0.108. Your IP address will likely be something different depending on how your router is set up for DHCP.

4. If you have not already done so install Filezilla and launch it. Click the File menu and select Site Manager.

5. You will be presented with a new window showing your sites. Click on New Site and rename it to something like XBOX360.

6. Click on the Host area and enter the IP address that you found in step 3. (Mine is 192.168.0.108) There is no need to put a number in the port box so leave it blank.

7. Click on the pull down menu that says Anonymous and change it to Account.

8. Fill in the following information: User = xbox Password = xbox Account = xbox
9. When youre done filling in all of the information your window should look like this.

10. Now Click on the Transfer Settings tab

11. Make sure the Active button is selected and click Connect.

13.13. Click on the + button to open the directory tree of your XBOX 360.

14. You will see the following folders:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Flash is the actual system files stored in the NAND. DO NOT mess with any of these files as you could potentially damage your NAND files and your XBOX will not boot up any longer.
HDD1 is partition 3 of your Xbox 360 hard drive. This partition contains all of your profiles, game saves, downloaded content, etc.
HDDX is partition 2 of your Xbox 360 hard drive. This partition contains Xbox 1 compatibility files to emulate Xbox 1.

15. Click on HDD1 then "Content" and you will see the following:

0000000000000000 contains all of your downloaded content.
Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is your game profile and contains all of your game saves. There could be a number of folders that start with the Exx depending on how many profiles you have on your xbox.

Yes you can transfer without using a flash drive. I find this easier and faster because i can just plug in my wireless adapter and tranfer files with this method.
