You need to build a desktop if you want a cheap gaming PC.

Gaming laptops are a terrible idea for numerous reasons. Mainly because they are large, heavy, and overpriced as hell.

He clearly asked for a laptop probably for a reason and people still comment saying " oh you should build your own COMPUTER" FFs he asked for a laptop.

Okay. Go find him a cheap gaming laptop that is more advisable than a custom built desktop.

The price doesn't actually even matter. Like I already said, gaming laptops are large and heavy, and the battery life is usually very low. You can't even use them as laptops, so there is no point in getting one. A desktop will always be more advisable.

I agree with you there but he might need to be able to use it in school or he switches houses so he dosent want to be bothered by a desktop
