DaareBeaar wroteXKLUTCHIN_OUTX wroteYa I I can use like the songs I buy for my iPad to transfer it to the phone correct?Hodgy_Beats wroteI didn't mean like that, we don't have a computer program that's official for Android thats easy to use like iPhone, and they have a built-in m4a and mp3 encoder. For android you have to act as if it's a hard drive to put music on it. Also, If you're anti-piracy, iTunes currency is to easy to obtain, while you have to have a debit/credit card for Play store.XKLUTCHIN_OUTX wroteWe do have something like itunes. Is called the play store.DaareBeaar wrote-Mezz- wrote iphone but they break too fast. That's why u gotta be super duper careful with them
Go with iPhone, I have an Android cause I think its better than iOS. You though sound like you're not into the specs, the iPhone has good enough specs to satisfy anybody and has new apps coming in daily. Don't forget about iTunes, android doesn't have anything like that.
Yes, the songs on your iPad CAN be transferred to either iOS or Android device. If you have iOS though, iTunes will make your life A LOT easier. Android is possible but more steps to it.

iTunes is a media player. It's no different than Windows Media Players. In fact, Android has BETTER things than iTunes. For example, and application called doubletwist is a media player (just like iTunes), but it offers the ability to wirelessly sync your music. You can add music to your phone when you aren't even near your phone. Does iTunes do that?

But here's the thing: what if you don't get your music from iTunes and you want to put it directly on your phone? In that case, Android is simpler to do that, because it's simply drag and drop.
