Laptops are shit. Alienware sucks. You're better off buying a computer from a yard sale..

If you need a laptop, buy a laptop. It is NEVER a good idea to buy a gaming laptop. You're much better off build a custom PC for gaming, and buying a separate laptop.

God damn it, I don't understand why people won't simply build there own PCs. You have 2000 dollars to waste, you could get an INSANE PC for that much that could make that alienware looks like trash.

$1400? That's $700 times 2. $700 will get you a nicely configured Thinkpad T430. The other $700 will get you a killer custom gaming desktop. Why get the worst of both worlds when you can have the best?

No, its not worth it. You are going to be spending 1000+ more just cause of the brand name Alienware. Its kind of like apple or origin. Your not paying 1000 more cause the computer is better, your paying 1000 more for the "cool" casing and the brand name. Now the link I have posted is a computer for 1000 USD less then that AlienWare, and it has the exact same parts inside of it, except it has 2 more GB of ram. Now this may not be the best choice for you or it may, but I was just showing you that you can get the same computer for 1000 USD cheaper.
