Well, as you may or may not be aware, borderlands 2 is out in the US. And what really ticks me off is the amount of people already modding the game to the max level, getting the max money, and the best guns, and hacking the game.
The game has literally been out for less than a day, and yet people have already done this. What was the point in buying the game? Surely you buy a game for the challenge of getting to the max level, not the challenge of who can hack their way there and ruin it for everyone else.
The worst thing about this is that being from the uk, I don't get the game until Friday, so pretty much everyone will have downloaded a save with everything on it.
This really has annoyed me to the extent that I will probably only play with people I trust, and the best part of borderlands one was when you joined a game, and there were no mods. It was rare yes, but it was what made the game great - the challenge of the actual game. Take away that, and you're left with nothing.
Rant over.

I agree wholeheartedly. I enjoy modding games like CoD4 and W@W, because they are old games. But on a game that has been out for not even a fortnight, and already people are starting to hack, that is just idiotic.

Nearly everyone had mods. I was just saying that it was the co-operation between what few legit players there were in completing the game that made the first one great.
I'm still really excited for this game though. It's just a shame that the public multiplayer will be so similar.

I mean, it's a game. A game is going to have is disadvantages and its advantages. People mod, so what? Just play the game with friends or someone else that doesn't have mods.
