USB modders don't get banned really since there is not much stuff to do with USB mods

There is multiple things to do....but most get patched..

I am sure people did challenge lobbies for MW2 via USB when the game first came out (like the first week)

Also you were able to mod your avatar colour before they instant ban people or instant corrupt your profile.
