hello guys, long time, no see!
anyways, i have my laptop (HP pavillion) and i cracked the screen to the point when you cant see it at all
It has a VGA output and ive always used that to connect it to my 32 inch tv...
Well i need to mess with my CPU speeds and i cant get into the bios without it being displayed on my laptop monitor.
This is just my laptop until my m17x comes in, so if i have to go into the computer to disconnect the screen, so be it..

I think what you will have to do is make it your primary and only monitor, when on the desktop.

I have the same problem, and I am looking for an answer also. Also, Alienware??? Really? What a waste.
