I'm confused as to how, even if the world reaches such a breaking point, any sane person would order the launch of nuclear weapons knowing that it will cause many other countries to do the exact same thing in turn killing the planet.
It just seems like something that is beyond a last resort and just won't happen.
The only reason America did it in WW2 was because they knew Japan didn't have anything that could retaliate as bad.
It just seems insane to me that leaders of countries would even consider using Nukes no matter how bad anything gets.
I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to this subject, so could anyone explain just how Nuclear war is even considered a real threat.
Right now, a Zombie Apocalypse seems just as likely in my mind.

Well from what we have seen, the Taliban's don't really care about consequences and just like to get their point across. So if someone was to start a nuclear warfare, I think it would be them.

I think for the sake of the planet The UN would ban nuclear warfare, and if someone were to launch a missile, that the rest of the world would just bomb them for days.

Well, in the war in North Korea, US and UK where going to use a nuke on Beijing, as USSR and China had bad relations around that time, so they knew USSR wouldn't retaliate.
This is after they had signed the Geneva convention.
I would also get a lot of hate for this; the atom bombs on Japan where more or less a test to see the destructive damage it could cause. Japan was already cornered, but who knows...?
it's like in a fight, if person 1 pulls a knife, then person 2 calls them out for having an advantage. Then as soon as person 2 is getting beaten by person 1, person 2 pulls a knife and stabs them. Even though they had called out the knife. So he took advantage at the fact that the other person wanted a fair fight

I was browsing this forum a few months ago and saw stuff about the illuminati and what, I think is that
the ultimate goal of nuclear warfare is to reduce the
ever growing human population and keep the arms maket running.Besides nothing like this is ever going to be
accepted by powerful countries.

Not yet. There are a lot of bad people in this world and if they are powerful enough they could get their hands on nuclear weapons.
