Just wondering, if someone has your ip address, can they send a Trojan virus through your ip? Meaning can they view your files and do whatever they want.

Not possible, only through Java drive-bys and executing .exes or a zero day was discovered. If someone threatened to hack you through your IP or something amongst those lines, ignore him.

Sending malicious software through your IP Address is unlikely if not impossible.

But if someone is threatening you and have your IP Address they can IP flood you, which isn't hard at all to do.
