You will not appear as a Gold member on your profile, but under Membership in Account Management, you should have 14-Day Trial. You can play online, join parties, and use apps such as Netflix that require Gold.

If your having trouble redeeming the code, double check your code, make sure the locale was set to Japan when you made the account, and the account email ended in @jp.com.

Can you create a party? If you can, then you are Gold. Try playing online or using Netflix.

I'm on the beta dashboard as well and I can change locale just fine.

Thats wierd i even signed out and then tried and its still greyed out and it wont let me click on it
