Do you remember the days when if there was a scammer, all they knew was "JTAG" and "Microsoft Points"? Well, they have advanced my good friends. If you want to escape scammers, you need to know motherboards, keyvaults, patches, IP cores, and a surefire way to find out if someone has a JTAG.
These are the following motherboards I know of - Zephyr, Xenon, Jasper (16, 32..?) Opus, Falcon, and the brand new Valhalla. If you find REALLY horrible people, they will pronounce Xenon like X - on. I've seen it before. I believe the motherboards that are non jtaggable are Opus and Valhalla (Not sure.) To avoid a MW2 scam, you need to know patches and motherboards. They will MOST LIKELY answer Xenon or Falcon when you ask, they are most commonly known.

ASK about how to boot up into Xellous - This is a blue screen set up, which when you push the eject button, it boots into a blue screen, showing your CPU key and DVD key. Most people do this every time they want to switch KVs.

Ask them how they know their motherboard -
I usually boot flash.360, so yeah...

ASK them file names - Ask them how they set up a MW2 lobby, the entire process, from the USB to the hosting itself. All you have to do is take the patch_mp.ff, default_mp.xex and code_post_gfx.ff (I mess that file name alot) from the USB into the core of your Hard Drive via XeXMenu, into the 0000000000000000 (16 0s) folder of your drive, ofcourse in your game folder. It's confusing to people who don't know what it is, but just listen closely.

ASK about CPU KEYS! - Ask them what fuses they combine for the CPU key! Either 4 and 6 or 3 and 5!

ASK about the dashboard! - This isn't THAT important, but tests their knowledge. The dashboards are Freestyle, Original, and the one with avatars. I've also heard of an Alpha Freestyle dash.
ASK about IP CORES - I don't know much about this, but it's a set of numbers. They'll probably just get confused.

ASK ABOUT KERNEL - Most will answer 9199!

Ask about KEYVAULTS - Ask about what type of keyvault they run. Most scammers say Xenon Motherboards because it takes BOTH KEYVAULTS,TYPE 1 KEVAULTS AND TYPE 2 KEYVAULTS, so they don't need to research. Older Xenon boards can take type 1, everything else TYPE 2, but that may not be accurate. I have a special freebooted non Xenon that takes BOTH KVs...

ASK ABOUT PATCHES - Some people are idiots, and say they don't need a patch. That's AN EPIC LIE! Patches are 100% needed for running lobbies as far as I know, ask what type of patch they run. Patches I know are as follows -
Chocolate (Original patch I think, one with 2.7m xp or something)

Last but not least... ask about the XEXMENU!!! THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION OF ALL! Most say XeXMenu 1.1 (I doubt ANYONE will say XeXLoader) But you can ask them to go onto XeXMenu, it should say "Session Sample" with a black xbox logo. Though if they don't go on it, they still may host, because they obviously may not have a KV. It ticks me off when some kids follow my suggestion, because I stare at my JTAG like "It's right there!" and they don't believe me.... So yeah, it's just a possible suggestion. Also, I've heard of some kind of XeXMenu 6? Yeahh...... Sounds fishy.

COD 5 -
Cod 5 lobbies are easy. It's a simple flash of the disk drive or hotswap. Just ask what disks they use, what disk drive they have, what program they used to burn the disks, and even ask them to host nazi zombie lobbies. It's the same concept as a COD 5 10th lobby. No JTAGs are even needed. Hope this helps!!! Don't say thanks, click thanks!

PS. IF you find someone who is very ignorant, say you have a Hemp motherboard with the Leaf patch. I've actually tried that on someone. I've also made a kid put his hard drive in the microwave. Scammers will believe anything, if you know how to handle them.
