Well rep works like this first there is rep points this works by posting I suppose after some posts you will get 1 rep point if you get a hundred that's 1 rep power.The rep power is important that's what makes you go up and you can see your rep.

You need 16 posts to earn 1 Reputation Power.
You can see by posting after 16 posts ill get rep power thus my rep goes from 30 to 31.

You currently have 11 Reputation Point(s).
This is saying how much I have.If I get 89 more rep points ether by ppl giving me rep or by posting ill get rep power and go up.

You need 89 more Reputation Points to earn 1 Reputation Power

This is counting how many rep points I need to get to get a rep power.

So when someone reps you they will give you one rep point however if someone reps you a hundred rep that's a rep power

If I got anything wrong someone correct me lol.But there used for people being on the site for a good while you can also trust them more becuz there doing more for the community and there not some one poster trying to dupe you lol.
