Budget: 300-400 (US)
Music: Really everything.. i want a capable base because of the house and dubsted.. thanks a bunch
Do they need to be portable? Ultrasone PRO900, V-moda LP2, HD25 Amperior or simply HD25-1-II
I'd say the Pro 900 is portablebut I guess it depends on your interpretation. I LOVED them. I would, though, considering they're easily the highest-end headphone I've heard.
would they be something i could take when i go away for tournaments and such?
Definitely. They also come with an awesome case and are extremely well-built. They're not small, but they're versatile.

I'd say the PRO900 is semi-portable. If you're going on a trip somewhere you can take them with you but don't expect to leave them on your neck. The carry case is tough, but not exactly small.

They look terrible in person. Not to mention the revised XB line of headphones are already out.
One time I wore them in Best Buy and they were comfortable! I just didn't listen to the sound quality. What are the new revised ones named?

XB400, XB600, XB800, XB900, and whatever the X-factor version is.

Clamp them on a pillow to loosen the clamp-force.

This this this. No reason to let that one con go unchallenged.
Glad you're happy with them, though! Now you can be cool! :dealwithit:
