I've heard tell of the Audeze LCD-3 having the best bass your money can buy. I know there's one I'm not thinking of, though.

The V-Moda LP2 and Ultrasone Pro 750 should both be good for you. The Pro 750 does not isolate terribly well.

How would these models compare to sennheiser HD 280 pro's (current headphones I have).
That's an impossible question to answer, unfortunately. Do you have a request? Right now this is very vague.

Ignore the bass question as it is too vague/subjective. How do the headphones you listed rate against the sennheiser HD 280 Pro's?

Are you talking about the Audeze LCD-3? Well of course they are far better in every imaginable way, but they're ~$2,000 and require more hardware. How much do you actually want to spend? The 280 is not a very good headphone.

JVC DX1000? I still want one. I might end up buying one. I just realized that used ones cost as much as a Sig Pro.
Oh, and there's the Ultrasone Edition 7 and 9.
All the trash I've been reading about the LCD-3 kind of scares me.
And not to be mean, but comparing the HD280 to any of them is ridiculous. They're pretty anemic-sounding sound, well, not that great in general.

I think he meant the first 4 headphones listed. My guess would be the AKG.
