Here's a summary.
The Battle of LA took place in Feb. 1942. The military got word that an aircraft was closing in and might rain fire. Military stood guard and opened fire on an aircraft sending 1400 rounds of armor piercing/anti aircraft rounds into the aircraft.
Some say it was a weather balloon, others think UFO.
The question is how come the aircraft didn't get shot down with 1400 rounds being put into it?
This happened 5 years before the Roswell Area 51 case.
Here is the original photo taken that night and later put in the newspaper the next day.

I took the photo in photoshop and enhanced it.

So what do you think it is? Discuss.

This is extremely weird, aircraft now wouldn't be able to withstand 1400 rounds, let alone a aircraft 60+ years ago when technology was not at it's greatest.
never come across this before, but glad i have now. Definitely could have been a UFO.

Oh yeah this was interesting it was on Fact or faked for anyone who knows that and they did tests but many people said it was a weather balloon but i really dont think a balloon could sustain so much bullets without Deflating. I would say its a UFO

I watched that Episode too. Didn't they interview children [who are now adults] and they said that it was like an orb?

An original story with an original pic was later changed by the government to say it was the infamous weather balloon. Something was happening that night that the government doesn't want us to know about. The same exact thing happened with the Roswell incident, and probably countless other incidents.

A weather balloon wouldn't take 1400 rounds and still fly. Its obviously a aircraft of some sort. Maybe proof of UFOs.

That does look strange, and it links in very neatly with the Roswell theory.
Anyway, when London was bombed constantly during that time, it was very rare for the Luftwaffe to get hit. Even though they did shoot at them every time the came.
