Hey I currently have a Dell precision 690 and want to upgrade the GFX card so it will be better suited for gaming/recording and rendering videos. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 12gb of ram recently if that changes anything. Thanks in advance!
P.S: Game I want to play and record include minecraft, dayz and cod at 1920x1200 resolution

Well..... 1st thing I can tell you is that ram you put in is useless. 8 ram is plenty. For those games I would go for 4 or 8 ram. I need to know the rest of the specs. I did just google it but you might have changed some of the parts.

I do a lot of editing in after effects and photoshop so 12 gb is necessary actually and all of the parts are stock apart from the ram which I replaced
Specs:
Intel Xeon 5160 @3.0 GHz x2
12gb ram
Nvidia quadro fx 3700
Dell 0MY171 mobo

Xeon? I doubt that you are gaming on a server. Nvidia quadro fx 3700? That's not even real!

Googled Nvidia quadro fx 3700 and it is real?
Also being priced at 400-500 GBP i would have thought it was more than capable however it does only have 512MB GDDR3
