I am thinking about buying a tv for my room to hook my Xbox up to. (My xbox is in a different room and the tv gets a lot of use.)My room doesn't have cable though. Do I need cable to play my Xbox on Live, because my Xbox uses HDMI.

You don't need cable. Just internet access whether it's through the wireless dongle or ethernet.

Your xbox will be able to connect wirelessly then. No need to get a ethernet cord to hook up to that one. I would just get a router so everyone in your house can use the WIFI without connecting to the cord

Just to make sure, our internet is in a cable, internet, phone bundle. Will it still work? Sorry, just don't want to waste my money.
