Hey r00t, you have recommended me a bunch of parts previously. But now I want to get your complete and solid build for me. I am going to be buying the parts very soon. You have helped me significantly and I greatly respect that. Thanks a lot.

Peripherals & Monitor: None
Games: Battlefield 3, Starcraft 2, and upcoming releases. Preferably on Ultra with 60fps +.
Software: Animation programs, video editing programs (ex: C4D, Photoshop, Sony Vegas, etc.)
Aesthetics: Don't want a really ugly computer, but don't go crazy with LED's and stuff.
Rebates/Promos: Yes Please
Details: I just want a fast computer that will last me a long time.
When: Within the next few days.

Edited, this is better. 2500k should overclock very nicely with some good [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and the EVO 212. Amazing value Intel SSD, you won't need to upgrade this bad boy for a while.

In the end there was a battle between an SSD and aftermarket cooler. I figure if you're really doing animation and video editing, an SSD would benefit you more. I gave you my favorite 660 Ti, overall a very solid build that should last you quite a few years before upgrading.

Swap the 3570K for a 2500K and get the cooler? Also you could get the Intel 330 120GB SSD and a 550w PSU is plenty for that build.
