This ^^.
The Kindle is not very good for business purposes as its primary use is an e-reader. the iPad is an Apple product and I **** hate Apple due to their sue happy ways amongst other things.
I would definitely recommend what -LOST- suggested, Google Nexus 7 or Samsung Galaxy.
They aren't sue happy... give me a single lawsuit they didn't have good reason to submit.
Great, the Apple fanboy is back.

Is that enough proof for you?
Back on topic, I think you should get either an iPad 3 (no budget), or a Nexus 7 (on a budget). The iPad 3 offers the best display, good specs, lots of apps, etc, so I think it's the overall best tablet. If you want an Android tablet, go with the ASUS Transformer Prime.

iPad has more apps, the business ones should be on both though. iPad has a bigger screen and will perform better. I'd personally get that.
