i'd say you're wrong, yes, to pull basic passable dps for any class is rather easy. But every class in their own right can pull high dps if played properly. check out the forum section on here, it will help you understand your class better. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

In all honestly, a hunter is probably the best class for damage all around. They are always toping the dps meters by far.

My main is an elemental shaman, and I do decent damage. But I usually am beat by a hunter or a shadow priest who knows what hes doing. Sometimes a rogue too.

How am i wrong? i told him one of the easiest classes to pull good dps without trying he probably doesnt play much if he has to ask this question so he probably doesnt know how to play all classes.

To be fair. Usually the best damage dealing class usually changes every patch. ( especially in pvp) But apparently atm a survival spec hunter, affliction spec warlock, fire spec mage(i think), fury spec warrior, ret paladin, shadow priest. i don't know any others
