Why did you buy a Sandybridge cpu when Ivy bridge is newer?

You could not be more wrong. In some ways the 2500K is a better option than the 3570K.

In almost every single way it's better..

Higher overclocking / cheaper / does not get nearly as hot / P67/Z68/Z77.

Saying SB is trash shows your ignorance and that tells me you should never post in a sub-forum that has anything to do with PC hardware for the sake of others.

OP, the 7770 is a good card, yes, but if you're not doing CPU intensive tasks that take full advantage of a quad-core overclocking ready 2500k, an i3-2100 + higher end video card will net you better performance.

The RAM is not something I would recommend. Tall heatsinks look like crap and do nothing but cause chaos.

Crap case / PSU.

Unless the video is from LinusTechTips / Newegg, I would not trust it since there is so much bad advice out there.

Well i have the 3570K and its overclocking at the moment at 5ghz, and running at only 30c. Let me see you do that with the sandybridge OP.

I call BS. I want a screencap of Prime 95 with CPU-Z and your TTG username in a notepad document.

SB is a better overclocker than IB.

Just because you *may* have gotten a golden chip and won the silicon lottery does not mean every chip is like that.

If you took the time to read over my post, you'd realize I did comment on his build and then proceeded to break down the user who somehow thinks IB is overly the top superior than SB.

Your build is pretty good ( ) but I'd suggest a 128gb Crucial M4 / Samsung 830 for the sake of credibility.
