Well if you have the tracking program that will help if , not well then it is no use. Also the only way it works is if the Ipod is in a WIFI zone and connected

I'm joking, but seriously, you could easily find his phone number online and talk to his parents about it.

I'm pretty sure the only real way to actually track it down is to have a tracker app on the ipod.

Then you'd have to type in the serial number on your dad's iphone.

I'm not exactly sure if there is another way to track it, but it could be possible.

You may also want to call apple.

They will half to turn it on anyways. Keep tracking everyday.
