In a little over one month, the US will be voting for it's next president.

This is a very important time which (believe it or not) has a lot of influence on the entire world, not just the US.

President Barack Obama will be running for his second term as president, and Mitt Romney will be running against him.

This election is exceptionally important because of the multiple social and economic issues in the country. Both candidates have radically different ideas on how to fix these issues.

If you are 18 years or older and have not registered to vote, you should. You can find deadlines and other information here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Who will you be voting for, and why?

Hate all you want, but i'm going with Obama

Everyone always talks about the downsides on Obama, What about the good things he did? Most people don't even know.

I will be not voting because I live in Australia, but if I could: Romney, Obama is nothing except the US's first black president, he has done nothing, that's all he will be remembered for.

I will be voting for Romney.

All I know about Obama that I'm not a big fan of:

He is defending Capitalism with the HIR act. Republicans want to protect the monopolies that many Insurance Companies depend upon to jack up rates.

(I'm off to bed. I will update if needed)

I'm choosing not to vote.

Honestly, it's like choosing the lesser of 2 evils. If I was forced I'd probably just Obama because Mitt just seems like a horrible person, but I really have no strong opinion.

I mean, either way, I'm going to get boned by the Government haha.

I'm actually going to vote for this guy right here:

First Presidential Election I will be partaking in. I will be voting for Romney.

Its time for government to stop with all of these expensive programs and taxes. The more money people have to spend, the more they will pump it into the economy. Businesses will have lower taxes, making it easier for them to hire people. Unemployment is almost 8 % , it was 4 % when bush was president.
