-ViRuSs- wrote Yep! I bought a new copy in advance, i've also heard some people complaining about AMD drivers, would I be better off with an nvidia gpu? I've also heard SLI is better than crossfire if i added another card in the future

this is true the nvida control panel is just hands down easier to turn on sli and adjust everything. Also the gtx 660ti will perform better then the radeon 7850.

I am a bit of a freak when it comes to overclocking and adjusting my hardware settings, i had been told that the gtx 660ti was a good choice of card, but i'll do some more research before i decide

OP get a 660ti/670. You want links I'll provide. Stay with the 2500k, get a low profile RAM kit, drop in a Samsung 830 instead of your existing SSD. Oh, what exactly is your budget?
