i want to know the exact difference between the 3 besides the obvious. did they change any hardware inside to a different company/make? any information would be greatly appreciated.

all i know is that ps3 fats overheat.

The first ps3 fats 60gb can play ps2 discs. 40gb models can not. All fat ps3's are more likely to get the yellow light of death. All models of ps3's can play ps1 discs. There are 2 Models of the normal slim 120gb and the 160gb. You can upgrade all models of ps3's. The new one 'super slim' is no different from the slim but has a new design and a different disc tray which sucks

No body knows the difference between the super slim yet, bcuz it's not out yet.
Phats are good for ps33,2,1 games and slips are good for not over heating.
