Actually, being a kid does have to do with age. Kid is just another form of saying child.

If I see a guy that is cheating on his girlfriend, doesn't take care of his child, and/or still argues over the internet or video games, then he is a kid. You can show me all of the dictionary definitions in the world, but this will still be what it is. I will never call anyone a man if they do those things. Maturity is what I go by when classifying someone as a kid or man/woman. If you want to act like a kid/child, I will treat you like one (not directed towards you, but that's how I see those situations.)

I only call people a "Kid" if they try to annoy me or friends though, it gives me the upper half of the argument and it makes them rage; there usually like 13 years old the people that I call a kid...So, it makes sense. If they sound older than me, I don't call them a kid, I let them give it there best shot at the argument.
