So, i get an e79 error once every 5 boots. A power cycle usually does the trick. What's wrong?

one of your points might be touching eachother, check your points and if its not that then i dont know

most likely your wiring, if its wired to the ring of light board and DB1F1. only way to get it more stable would be to go the Aud clamp method.
Don't do the Open tray method as it can cause problems too.(random cd drive issues)
use: DB1F1 and AUDCLAMP points, configure your smc and flash nand
