You seem to believe everything you read. Well, either way it's simple to realize that if the USA, even with you biased point of view, heads down the same way we are going, we could be in a lot of trouble.
Therefore, our military who may or may not be the best will no longer be because our funding given to the military would be poor, causing us to fall behind.
Simple reasoning, simple explanation.

I see China may soon take that title. I also see that the US and China may become stronger allies and become a double superpower. I guess whatever the US needs to do to save itself from losing the position. May as well call China a superpower if we are really that close to lose the title to them.

Isn't it China? I thought the US was second.

The USA IS not the the only super power by far China, Russia And Maybe Iran. But china is probably the most powerful-est one considering if they call in the debt that the USA Has Americas screwed for at least 2 years

Anyway, technically United States isn't the only super power. We are, I guess, the most influential of them all however. Even though we are number one on the list, doesn't mean others aren't. There are plenty of other influential nations.

United States might not be one for much longer, as the above people said, US owes China a lot of money and our economy is declining with a huge debt.

Either way, all of those "potential" superpowers are technically considered super powers in the world.

May i just correct you on that last sentence you wrote "U.S.A. has the best of the best military" Technically this is a false statement. A few years back the UnitedKingdom and the USA did some sort of training course to see who was the most stealthiest and most lethal. The SAS came out on top and the are from the UK, not trying to hate just saying.

Also if you wanted to know why the US is the only superpower why are you hating on everyone that proves you wrong. You may be the biggest because you have a bigger economy money wise but there are other countries that have been named a superpower
