Yep! And the names are just recycled by Intel. This is not an old CPU and it's incredible for the price.

forgive my ignorance, but what makes the celeron any different than a Pentium?

More L3 cache and higher clock speeds. So not a whole lot, it's really just a higher-end model of the same basic thing.
