A tip from me would be stay away from public price fixes. They work once in a blue moon. Most of them crash and burn. Lost 10k+ on a PF on here that had a LOT of potential. All people had to do was list the player for 15k a few cards at a time per person for 12 hours. They could of watched TV and everyone would of made like 5-8k per card.

Of course that didn't happen though. You always have the greedy guy (sometimes the topic creator, usually so in more cases) who will undercut everyone's prices just so theirs sells for good profit. Then people undercut him, so on and so forth. Next thing you know, the player is going for LESS than he originally started with people trying to recoup as many as their coins as possible.

After I witnessed this I did a few minutes of research. I found a player that could be PF for 10k profit easily. I stood off the forums, talked to a few friends, and we got it done. In under a day we rose his price 10k and it's now locked there. We'll make making 100-200k profit over the next week or so.

Not all public price fixes are bad, but they're extremely risk. I won't be participating in any of them anymore. Find a few trusted partners and make some profit.

Yeah, usually takes a couple of people to grab them all. Could be done solo though. Your problem was that you went after a gold. PF's rarely work on gold players that are still in packs. There are new ones pulled every day. Find a silver or bronze that looks like a good target. I haven't heard of anyone PF'ing a GK so try an outfield player. Look for someone pacey from a good league/nation that can go for a bit more than he's currently going for. Depending on the rarity of the card, you can do it yourself. If you break 30/40 cards, maybe use a second account too for another trade pile.
