I just downloaded Tf2, but I want to add my friend to play with him but I obviously cant because of that stupid buying a game rule.

Does anyone know how to get around this so I can add my friend and party up with him?

If your friend is premium, just have him add you. If he's not premium, you can become premium yourself by buying anything from the Mann. Co Store. The cheapest item is $0.39 USD, but you can't add any funds lower than $5.00 USD.
