graphics card: 2gb amd radeon hd7850
ram: 16gb samsung duel ddr3 1333mhz
memory: 1tb black caviar
power supply: 650w corsair enthusiast
processor cooling: coolit eco II A.L.C
sound card: asus xonar dgt 5.1

whats wrong with my graphics card and mobo at the moment and i dont plan on overclocking so why get the 3770k?
also why ditch the sound card?
these are genuine questions as im just getting started with computers.

Because I know computer parts very well, and I'm helping you. A K-series CPU is just better to have, in case you want to get some free performance in the future. The motherboard I chose is a great board all around and rocks for the price. There is zero need for a sound card as your motherboard has sufficient sound on board. A sound card is always a waste of money unless you have a massive speaker system. As far as your graphics card, you listed a vanilla AMD card, you always should go non-reference, just get the one I linked you to. The CPU cooler I linked is also awesome for the price and will keep those ivy bridge temps in check.
