Try a new video cable, if that doesn't solve the problem, your GPU may need a reflow.

Sounds to me like you may need a reflow.

The exact same thing happened to me, you need a reball, not a reflow. Also the modchip could be broken. I would ask the seller of it is ok to open it up and then do so. Make sure that all the wires are good and none came loose. If all seems good and a light on your modchip comes on when your console gets plugged in then you will need a reball.

1st, He never said it was a RGH'd console, 2nd, most of the time you wouldn't need a reball as he didn't get and error just no video. Also, a reball should be the last cause and it is expensive and time consuming.

My bad on the modded console part. But I was talking to mafia about this and he said the fuzzy screen is caused by a cold solder/bride under the GPU. He said to have it reballed with a replacement GPU. The fuzzy screen is called artifacting.

If it was a cold solder joint a reflow would fix it(thats why you get it reflown first)and if it was bridged then it would need a reball but you wouldn't need to replace the whole GPU, just the solder balls under it lol.
