My source is me. I'm on PC and just tried it for both TOTW and Seasons and it does not work.

Cheers, I thought it was patched with the latest update so didnt bother trying. Will do no and save for a 2nd team

It works for PC? Cause I've tried it multiple times over and over and it doesn't so I somewhat doubt that it still works for PC.

it doesnt matter if it gets patched dont install the patch you can play ultimate team offline seeing as its an offline season you wont have to update lol then when your done update

Can't launch the game for PC to my knowledge unless you are signed into origin and update to latest version.
