I want to know if we will be able to walk to each area without using the bus.

probably because i don't think it would force you to go around the whole map to get back to that 1 area

You can choose to one of the two:
1. Take the bus
2. Walk through the fog
Each comes with its own advantages and disadvantages, you should choose upon which will give you a greater advantage to yourself and your team
