Red ain't happening unless you can find the red V-Moda LP priced reasonably. Otherwise, the CAL is awesome!

Parall3l wrote So hows the Sony XBA-1? Starting to see them at local electronics retailers. Might be a good recommendation for under $100 IEMs.

Bassy, pretty, durable, versatile, and more bassy? Sounds like what you're after.

I know I said 100-250 but can you find something under 100? If you can't that's fine though

EDIT: And I don't know if you have already said this but what are your favorite headphones?

If you don't mind giving up some portability and durability, the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is what I'd recommend.

Since the Ultrasone Pro 900 is by far the best headphone I've ever heard (followed by my M50), they get that title by default.

Speaking of the PRO900, I did get to hear the HE400 the other day. Personally I think they're better than my PRO900. Although being open is a rather big disadvantage for me since I live in a noisy area. The signature is warm and slightly dark. Sounds great.
