I don't quite think you understand how wrong you are. If he were to walk into Best Buy and steal an $800 laptop they would pres charges. Just like the guy he stole it from is going to press charges. Obviously he has the kids address. It's not like he put a candy bar in his pocket from the grocery store. He was fully aware what he was doing, and he knew it was wrong. And now he's scared, like he should be. Again, OP, you are a theif and if you don't return the thing to the guy I hope you like being arrested and charged with theft. Also, depending on your state, it is a felony so you will be taken to juvenile detention.

No he would still get in trouble at 14 I stole some headphones and a video game I did get arrested not sent to Juvie though but I had to pay for the items plus a $250 fine for stealing

Even that's been wrong, I'm not trying to brag or act like an internet criminal, but I've had one offense for stealing from tesco, I got a police resolution(final chance) I then got caught robbing from co-op, which then I got taken to the station the next day for DNA, mugshot and fingerprints, I then had to attend youth meetings. No fines were paid. But $800, you will get in serious balls for.

You don't deserve any help. You scammed someone out of $800. How would you feel if you were to get scammed for that much money?

Exactly what I stole was no more than $100 plus the $250 fine this is $800 hes dealing with and his fine would be way more than mine if he does get into trouble i would think anywhere from $600 and up

All he has to do is call Ebay and THEY will go in your account and take the money without your permission.
