Ok im just going to sort out dynamic offsets for now, when i release the program i may add the decompressing in, so the tool does the whole job. But i guess thats not going to be easy - especially as its in python.

Any chance you could tell me in a PM how your save doesnt get corrupt. Im guessing its checksums but how did you sort it out?

Can you try to change the character on the save so we would be able to change the char on an existing save.

Fixed the dynamic offsets
All i need now is a way to code the decompression and checksums in vb and we have a fully working mod tool for boderlands2.

This tool will be able to edit the basics such as
lvl, money, skill points, etc.

Then at a later stage i will add more stuff like changing gun lvl requirement.

Im thinking about releasing a build tonight, all it will contain is money editing. However the tool is useless until i know how to fix the checksums/stop the save becoming corrupted.

I have just 100% tested and has worked modded my eridium with just my save no j-tag and will be able to mod many other stuff aswell
