I don't want a desktop I prefer a laptop
Particularly one that can play:
Minecraft
arma 2
crysis
battlefield 3
and a lil sony vegas
on reasonable settings with no lag
I was looking at the m14 alienware are there any other suggestions in the under $1100 range?
thanks

I can see r00t coming in here telling you why they're bad.

All I can say on this is DON'T. GET. ALIENWARE.

Holy overpriced garbage, it's ridiculous.

Right now I have an ASUS G73JW (They have a G75 now) but it's over your price range at like $1400.

and how portable are you chances are you dont need a laptop? are you a business man?...no

so there is no need for a gaming laptop just build a good desktop for 1100.

So am I able to get a decent laptop in that price range that will hold up to my needs? I'm not really looking for ultra settings, I just want to play with no lag. Any other suggestions?

Maybe I like being able to take it wherever I want, without dragging a monitor, tower, keyboard/mouse and cords?

You could surely find something, I just have no idea where or what you'd need to look for.

The batteries in laptops are also terrible, the voltage isn't high enough to really game while not on a charger and it would die pretty fast if you were playing off a charger anyway.

Just keep that in mind.
