Apart from that the Xbox version is 5-6 updates behind and that is even when 1.8.2 comes out. You can talk on Skype and it is much better quality than the XBL chat system. PC has mods, you can make your own skin and you can also have texture packs to change the look of it there is also a mod to have a sound pack folder so you caa have custom sounds and you can also run it on the PC buttery smooth ETC 120fps if you feel like it. Also if you are not comfortable with a mouse and keyboard you can plug in a Xbox controller and play it that way.

LoL my friends and I actually go on XBL start a party then shut off the TV when we play PC, no dropped calls out of skype plus no resources taken up by it either.

What do you mean download "all of that stuff" they did not say nothing about downloading stuff when you pay from Minecraft on the PC it auto downloads the client for you anyway all you have to do is double click it to play MC. Even my nan could do it
