I'm looking to buy a JTag from one of the trusted sellers on TTG, but first I wanted to make sure I'm making the right decision. Can you guys help me?
I already have an xbox, and I plan to keep that xbox to play games online (games I've paid for). I am just looking to buy a Jtagged Xbox to play offline downloaded games and possibly emulators. Is this something that alot of you guys commonly do? I have no interest in Modding games BTW.
After reading about Jtag's, I think i'm going to buy a Jasper just for the piece of mind. I don't want any risk of a RROD anytime in the future if I'm spending this kind of money.
Also, I already own a 1 TB HDD that I've converted to FAT32... I use it for downloaded movies now but it sounds like i can also use this for downloaded games right? And since i already have this hard drive, I should only get the 20 GB HDD inside the Jtagged xbox so i can save my games right?
Can you guys who are more experienced with Jtag's let me know if this sounds like I'm on the right track? Any advice would be appreciated.

We can't help you with any piracy as its against the rules. That being said there are tutorials for the kind of thing all over youtube. As for the hard drive, get it and put it inside the official caddy (the official drives are just a 2.5 inch Hard Drive in the caddy) this will allow you to see and use all of the space of the drive from the official dashoard, you can then use this one drive for saves, emulators, and games no matter the way in which they were obtained 3322))

You can Jtag it yourself just figure out what motherboard it is like example Jasper or a Falcon Mother Board this can be easily be verified by looking at the power supply in the console but anyways there's many tuts on YouTube Like Troy6189 I Jtag my own Console by buying very few supplies Like Diodes and Resistores and Even an LPT Cable bad thing is to never run an unsigned code online because Microsoft are looking for People who are Runing Xexmenu1.2 but I'm not that person who can sell a Jtag/RGH Unfortuennly Microsoft is still patching up challenge lobby's online so watch out

As said above, piracy isn't supported here for obvious reasons.
Your 1TB HDD should be more than enough, I used a 500GB external formatted to FAT32 and all my homebrew runs off that fine.
A 20GB harddrive for savedata is good, you can always change it and upgrade if you need to.
A Jasper is a good choice, an RGH slim is a higher end console though but has longer boot times. You could even get a dual nand console and have one nand for using homebrew on and one nand that's 100% LIVE safe.
Of course if you don't need another console for LIVE then that doesn't matter.

Inuyasha555 and Gut thanks alot for your insight. My bad on the piracy thing, I completely understand why it wouldn't be supported here.
As for the Dual Nand, it sounds cool... but I don't think I need it as i already have another Xbox to use for live.
CoolAid66 you totally missed the point of my post. I don't want to Jtag my current Xbox because then i can never use it online again.
I should be purchasing a Jtag soon. Can't wait!

Thanks Darsmi28. I've read alot of good things about Mafia 5k. I'll probably just go with him.
Payfone I appreciate the offer but this is a pretty big purchase for me, I'de rather not risk being disappointed with my purchase.
