So I am new to the whole PC Gaming thing, and I have a Few Questions.
1. How can I make games less choppy/laggy when I play them? For example, My computer can run Mw2 Perfectly, But on some maps its really choppy, Any way I could fix this? if not on the PC then a upgraded Graphics card maybe?
2. Is there a way I can record gaming with a free Program to upload to youtube?
3. If you can help me, I was wondering if anyone knew why my files were getting erased, for example I had FourDeltaOne for MW2 and I played it only yesterday (10/14/12) and I was going to play it today and it is gone, Erased. Any ideas on how or why that happened?
Anyhelp will do, Looking to take my gaming from the ps3 to the PC,

Thanks for reading and have a nice day/night.

Don't trust my judgement for this first part, I'm only assuming, see the very bottom paragraph if my solution is not correct.
1) This could result in many different ways, it could either be your PC isn't strong enough (even though you said you can run it perfectly). It may be your internet connection, or maybe the host of the game is just not good enough to support all 12 or 18 people (depending on which game mode you're playing of course.)

2) There are many tutorials on YouTube you can get Fraps, Dxtory (if you have a computer that isn't running Windows 2000, I would recommend this programs, because Dxtory records in .avi files which as you may know have very big file sizes. The thing that I prefer Dxtory over Fraps is that whenever Fraps hits a 4GB file it splits into a different file which can get tedious when trying to put together clips for ex a walkthrough, or commentary gameplay.)

3) You're files are being "erased"? Are you moving them to a folder and forgetting them or something?
The ONLY possibility I could point out is that when you downloaded FourDeltaOne your Anti-virus picked it up as a virus and deleted that one "infected" file. The reason I put quote marks around infected is because your anti-virus thinks it's a virus when it's really not.

But for part #1, don't trust my judgement, as I'm not a "Expert" computer whiz, I would suggest PM'ing this issue to one of the following names r00t ,Generation , or itsMichael . But please keep in mind that they do get a lot of PM's a day and they're not on 24/7 so it may take some time to get a reply.

For recording gameplay for your computer, I recommend camtasia. It has it's own built in editing software, it's super quick and brilliant quality.

Don't call us nerds. Think of it as a hobby. A very useful hobby.

Thank you For Your Suggestions, The other comments were worthless. As in my computer I'm going to take it to a Computer place down the street from where I live and see how much It would cost to get a full upgrade. Thanks for the help!
