I've been wanting to get this off my chest for some time now, ever since the release of Halo Reach and the new Call of Duty's.

I have been an Xbox 360 gamer for around 5 years and have noticed in all the games that I play (Fifa, Halo, CoD) that they have made the game a lot more 'Noob Friendly'. What I mean by this is that the games are starting to require less and less skill each time they bring a new one out.

Halo
Halo is my favorite game of all time, especially Halo 3. The reason for this is because it had a very good ranking system which separated the good people to the 'noobs'. The more you play this game the better you get and it was always a fair 4v4 battle (unless somebody bought their account).
When they brought out Halo reach they made the game so that it was 'Noob Friendly' and really didn't have any ranking system what to ever. (arena was terrible). So this meant that 1 game I could be matched up against complete noobs one game, and the next I could be matched up with people better than me, there was a credit ranking system which meant that the longer you had played the higher your rank will be, nothing to do with skill whatsoever. In my opinion if Halo 4 doesn't have a 1-50 ranking system or something similar than it will die out and be outplayed by Call of Duty BO2 but fingers crossed.
I know that they make games 'Noob Friendly' to aim their games at the 'casual gamer' and not the competitive one, which is understandable but that is why I play Halo and not Call of Duty.
My rant being that Call of Duty you can sit in a corner and get 10 kills and be better than somebody who has played all of the Call of duty's and is running around, whereas Halo you can't jump into the game and be good at it, it takes practice and skill compared to CoD, which is why it is 5 headshots for a kill on Halo:Reach and 4 on Halo 3.

Just a little rant, thanks for reading.
I will add to this sometime.
