I was superstar 4 and was sent down to superstar 3 than later 2. A friend of mine was hall of fame and as sent back to superstar.

How can I stop getting deranked.

you know how the more you played the more you ranked up on 2k12?well this year its not just how much you play its HOW you play.for intstant if you just play teamup or myplayer blacktop and get an F teamate grade your rank will go down.so the better you play good your rank will go up if you play bad your rank will go down.think of your rank as a teammate grade.
