Basically It won't install the VGA drivers successfully, also I noticed a 6 pin port on the graphics card and I am not sure if I need to use it or not? If anyone has experienced these problems can you please let me know how to fix it? Thanks x

1. Make sure you have ALL of your old video card drivers uninstalled BEFORE trying to do a clean install of new drivers for a brand new video card.
2. Do NOT use the disc that it came with? Why you may ask? I'll tell you why - it's outdated. Go to AMD's website and download it from there.
3. Yes, you do NEED to plug in the 6PIN PCIE power connector straight into the video card or else it won't work. The 75w from the PCI lane is not enough.

There's nothing wrong with it!
He just needs to completely uninstall all previous remnants of the graphics card drivers and the 6 pin connector needs to be plugged in because most modern gpu need more power than the PCI-E lane can supply.

All of Generation's reasons are correct. The most important one though is to use all 6 pins. It's the equivalent to putting one battery in a remote with two slots; it won't work.
