i totally agree, infact, the librarian at my school, ALLWAYS, is off when a new game is released, and people need the library for there work to either be typed up or printed off because they dont have the equiptment at there home.

But however, that is just in that type of situation, i dont see the problem of staying off school for what, two days, the librarian will stay off for atleast a week to play a game, this is only an issue, because it effects other people not just them.

While i can agree it is pathetic for Minecraft i WILL stay home for Grand Theft Auto V and Halo 4. So you can suck one. Have nice day.

It's my October break so I didn't have to go to school anyway, I don't play Minecraft on Xbox though and if people were to stay of for a game that would be there after you got home then it's quite pathetic -_-

Mate, peoples life are nothing to do with you? i think having a day off school is good iv never had a day of school for a game, but i proberly would... it not going to get you an A* if you go in that day is it?

seriously who actually gives a f**k about the people who stay at home to play games?? half the people will be hating on here cause there the one`s who want it soooo badly but they gotta wait till after school/work while there friends stay home and have fun... its just like people who hate cause of the midnight release`s there just jealous that their parents/wife`s/husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends wont let them go down at midnight or they simply cannot afford the game at that time so they b**ch at the one`s who managed to go

The only time I took a day off from school was for the midnight launch of MW2, MW3, BO, H3, Halo Reach, GoW 2, and GoW 3. Next Ill take a day off for the Halo 4 launch. After the launch day I return to school the next day. But I have seen worst were one of the seniors at my school took a 2 week break from school to play MW3. When he return he was 7th prestige rank 70 something. Talk about your average CoD gamer.

I strongly disagree with you, I have friends that get straight A's and they stay home for a day to play a game (new game blackops etc).

It's pathetic, can't they wait 8 hours to play a game?

Mate, It really has nothing at all to do with you if they choose to have a day or two off for a game. I don't see the point myself, you can always play the game when you get home but if people have loads of days off then they're the ones wrecking there life so why does this annoy you?
