I've had the entire week off and guess what I have been playing games. But I didn't take the days off to play games it was because i was ill on monday and the rest of the days I could be bothered to go school and I will be at home tomorrow too.

Alright, well let me ask you this;

In the working world, there's stuff known as sick days and vacation time. Now, if one person were to call a sick day so they could play a game, does that mean that they're lazy and they don't value their career and don't care about their life?

No. Missing one day of school isn't going to do much (apart from exam days).

I agree, these try-hard-to-get-update-ers really need to get a life.
They can skip and still get grades, but its a pathetic reason to say "oh golly, my stomach hurts" then be playing Minecraft or some other game.

I dont really see how being a member of this site automatically makes you a game nerd. Its ok to enjoy video games.

Also, I dont think taking a day off will ruin your life. But I also do not agree with taking a day off for the sole reason of playing a video game, because in no matter what grade or level you're in school is more important than a game. Now dont get me wrong, when I'm doing good and stuff in school and things aren't too busy I'll take a one day break, but I wont completely drop what I'm doing and skip for a day because theres a new game out and I want to play it all day.

I guess my point is, it depends on the situation you are in.

Co-own part of my own business , so technically everyday for me is work, even when home, plus the work area my business is in can be very quite at times meaning i an be picky on when i take days off etc as id rather have 2 or 3 days of regular visits to my shop then 1 one day then 4 days of nothing then a few over a weekend..Also helps the shop enviroment as if other people waiting for tattoos and piercings see people coming in saying how they love the piercing and how great i was at doing it and seeing me take a picture of the piercing and then giving very detailed after care advice and even giving extra contat methods other then the shop number and business mobile means the customer is more relaxed and makes the whole experience nicer.
